Curtis G.

Curtis grew up in a house alive with art and music on the lakeshore of south eastern Wisconsin. He was passionate about music and learned to play drums at a young age. He studied and performed in popular bands around the Midwest until eventually moving west to Arizona. This is where his entrepreneurial spirit and love for mid-century modern design would be realized. Visiting hip vintage shops of the day including Do Wah Diddy’s, Bo’s Funky Stuff and Sha-boom’s inspired him in developing a keen eye for collectibles and all things vintage. After several years of being an established dealer in antique malls Curtis co-founded a popular retail store in Tempe, AZ that maintained a strong presence for nearly a decade before setting sights on sunny Southern California. Relocating to Los Angeles Curtis furthered his pursuits of music and design. After recently returning to his Arizona home, Curtis enjoys the thrill of finding obscure vintage vinyl records at flea markets and swap meets in his free time. His collection totals nearly 5000 LP’s. Above all Curtis plays music regularly and still takes on graphic design projects for his music clients.
