Blake Bergman

Originally hailing from Kansas City, Missouri, Blake has been a resident of the local area for a little over a decade, moving here in 2014 with his wife and three children. Previously throughout his earlier years in the Midwest, he was always an arm’s reach away from either the interior city landscape or the outward country sprawl, spending equal time within both settings. Having family living in the country that enjoyed their own antique picking sensibilities is one of Blake’s earliest memories and something that was engrained within him as he grew up. Equally feeling at home within a history museum as he is within an antique store, Blake enjoys being a student of history in general and finding the story of interest that makes each item in from of him unique in nature.

One avenue that Blake holds strength within is that of film and cinema history, as well as other pop culture significant merits. He has previously held positions for known companies of cultural entertainment identity such as Mattel Inc. and Disney, as well as investigations for USAA. On a personal front, Blake enjoys archiving film at home, compiling an extended library of physical media. This has led to him to publishing articles on the subject, working on special features for a media company to put on physical release, and also venturing into the podcasting and overall discussion-based world on the topic. He also has a great deal of focus on collectable items of novelty like comics, toys and games, personally curating a good collection of each.
